Jack Heintzelman, CFP®, CPWA®, currently serves on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), the leading membership organization and trade association for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals and those who support the financial planning process.

Heintzelman joined Boston Wealth Strategies in 2018 as a paraplanner, managing the financial planning process and collaborating with advisors to develop comprehensive plans and recommendations. This experience laid the foundation for his current role as a financial planner, where he works directly with clients to help them navigate their most significant financial and life decisions.

His passion for this profession began during an internship with a financial advisor early in college. Since then, he’s been driven by the privilege of positively impacting clients’ lives. Whether guiding a young professional toward financial independence or helping a family plan for their legacy, he’s committed to providing high-touch, customized service.

Today, Heintzelman proudly serves over 100 families, focusing on life sciences, technology, and multi-generational wealth planning clients. His firm has grown from a team of four to 15 advisors and staff, and he’s deeply involved in internal initiatives to develop career paths and support the next generation of financial advisors.

Heintzelman feels fortunate to share his insights with industry platforms, including CNBC, Bloomberg, InvestmentNews, and WealthManagement.com, focusing on how we can better serve clients and grow our profession. He was also recognized as one of Financial Planning magazine’s “7 Rising Stars of 2024” for his work ethic, passion for service, and genuine dedication to advancing the profession.

Outside of work, Heintzelman is dedicated to giving back by serving as a council member of Good Sports, Inc., supporting underserved youth sports programs, and being actively involved with the Saint Anselm College yAnselmian Network and Boston Steering Committee.

Heintzelman resides in Charlestown, Mass., and when he’s not meeting with clients, you can find him on the golf course, ski slopes, or catching a game at the Garden or Fenway Park. He also enjoys traveling, with dreams of golfing from sunrise to sunset in Ireland and Scotland or skiing in the Swiss Alps.
