Mychal Eagleson, CFP®, AIF®, ChSNC®

Mychal Eagleson, CFP^®, AIF^®, ChSNC^®, currently serves on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association^® (FPA^®), the leading membership organization and trade association for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professionals and those who support the financial planning process.

Eagleson is the President and founder of Teach Plan Retire, a firm specializing in fiduciary financial planning for educators and their families in Indianapolis, Indiana. He most recently served as the Chairman of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana after serving three years as the chapter’s President. He was also a member of the OneFPA Advisory Committee Executive Committee from 2022 to 2024.

Named one of “Indy’s Most Pivotal Leaders in 2022,” he is passionate about developing the next generation of financial planners inside and outside his firm, including serving as an instructor in Dalton Education’s award-winning CFP^® education program. Outside of financial planning, Eagleson is a father of two, loves to enjoy the outdoors, and has worked to successfully advocate to advance public education in his local community.
