The Financial Planning Association of the Triangle is a professional organization of more than 200 financial planning professionals from coastal North Carolina to Greensboro. The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) is the membership organization and professional home for committed practitioners who want to master the practice of financial planning and help shape the future of the profession. We meet in the Raleigh area on a bi-monthly basis to network, discuss advances in the profession and earn CE credits.

BECOME AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF OUR NEXGEN GROUP

Our NexGen group holds quarterly sessions for members in their first 8 years in the profession! Registration links will be posted below, under Chapter Events when registration opens. E-blasts will also be sent out as registrations open.

JOIN OUR NC WOMEN'S INITIATIVE GROUP

Our NC Women's Initiative Group is open to all women members in our Triangle and Charlotte chapters. It is a place for planning professionals to empower one another, collaborate, network, and learn. Stay tuned for more information on our 2025 meetings. E-blasts will be sent out when registration opens.

FPA TRIANGLE DIVERSITY & INCLUSION SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship awards $1,500 per applicant who is seeking to complete a CFP® certification program registered with the CFP® Board.

This scholarship aims to advance diversity and inclusion within the financial planning profession by providing financial assistance to aspiring financial planners who are from underrepresented populations in the profession, have a financial need, and demonstrate a commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in their communities.
