Happy New Year, fellow FPA Dallas/Fort Worth Members! I am excited to step into the role of president for our chapter in 2025 and look forward to all we have planned.
We are fortunate to be part of such an engaged and vibrant community, one that continues to grow and excel in advancing our mission. Together, we remain committed to fostering excellence in financial planning and promoting the value of the CFP® designation. Let’s make this year one of continued progress and success!
Thanks to your dedication to FPA DFW, we enjoyed another successful year. We kicked off the year with our largest-ever FPA DFW Conference, setting an inspiring tone for the months to come. Throughout the year, we hosted engaging chapter meetings, organized memorable ballpark events, and created valuable networking opportunities through our Allied Professionals. We also expanded our Career Development offerings and saw continued growth and enthusiasm within our NexGen community. Our Honors Awards dinner was another standout event, bringing together and celebrating the outstanding leaders in our industry. As we look to the year ahead, we’re excited to mix things up as we try a different setup and approach to some of our offerings.
I’m excited to share that our membership numbers are stronger than ever, making us the largest chapter in the FPA. While this growth is an incredible achievement, the true measure of our success is the value we provide for our members and the active engagement within our financial planning community. Your ideas and feedback are crucial to shaping our future. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any member of the 2025 FPA DFW Board to share your thoughts and suggestions. Your involvement is what makes our chapter thrive.
I encourage every member to take full advantage of the opportunities available at both the local and national levels. Consider contributing your skills and time by joining committees, supporting our pro-bono initiatives, or stepping into a leadership role within the FPA Dallas/Fort Worth Board. Your involvement makes a meaningful impact and helps strengthen our community.
