DENVER (October 18, 2021) – FPA NexGen®, a community of the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) that connects and supports more than 3,500 new financial planning professionals, is pleased to announce the five newly elected members to the NexGen Leadership Committee for 2022. FPA NexGen is a vibrant community of aspiring and new CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals in the early stages of their careers and is led by the 15-member FPA NexGen Leadership Committee.
“2022 looks to be an exciting year for continued growth and collaboration across FPANexGen, and each of these newly elected leaders will play a pivotal role in our success,” says 2021 FPA NexGen President-elect Kevin Clark, CFP®, CIMA®, EA. “We plan to finally reconvene in-person in August for Gathering in Las Vegas, our volunteer teams will improve upon their achievements of this year to offer more support and resources to local chapters, and we will work to make our community feel more connected with a more inclusive NexGen experience.”
Each new Committee member will serve a one or two-year term effective Jan. 1, 2022. New Committee members will apply their diverse backgrounds and experience to help guide the strategic direction of the FPA NexGen community and continuously seek opportunities to engage with new planners to encourage sharing, collaboration, and connections. The new FPA NexGen Leadership Committee members are:
- Amie Agamata, CFP®, AIF®, RICP®, ChFC®, CLU® (FPA NexGen President-elect)―Financial Planner in San Diego, Calif.
- Emma Cramm, CFP® (FPA NexGen Gathering Coordinator-elect)―Wealth Planner at Cadent Capital in Dallas, TX.
- Rebecca Montes (FPA NexGen Organizational Director)—Client Specialist at Edge Capital Group in Dallas, TX.
- Daniel Murphy, CFP® (FPA NexGen Local Leader Coordinator)—Vice President of Planning Experience at Commonwealth Financial Group in Boston, Mass.
- David Tassone, CFP® (FPA NexGen Local Leader Coordinator)—Senior Financial Advisor at Kaye Capital Management in Los Angeles, Calif.

FPA NexGen provides financial planning professionals who are new to the profession with a community that supports, advises, and encourages professional advancement; promotes, fosters, and directs programs that aid in knowledge transference; and explores issues common to relatively new planners in their career advancement.
