Description: With over 3,000 listed products domestically, there are many Exchange Traded Funds competing in their delivery of segmented market exposure- each with a different product design and pricing structure. This program will equip participants to calculate their all in cost structure and compare the cost structure of like products.
Learning Objectives: Help advisors better understand how to evaluate investments they are considering for their portfolios. Discuss best practices for evaluating different ETFs and what to consider when looking at an ETF's liquidity profile. How to successfully navigate the different types of active ETFs. Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to-
- Distinguish between the implicit, explicit, and opportunity costs of owning an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF).
- Use an institutional level process to evaluate the factors contributing to the total cost of ETF ownership.
- Evaluate like products and determine the best fund to utilize in accessing various market segments.

About the Speaker: Ryan Claybourn leads distribution for the ETF and Funds Management group at Texas Capital, a full-service financial services firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
Ryan is responsible for the education, distribution, and implementation of Texas Capital’s fund solutions. Prior to Texas Capital, Ryan was an Equity and ETF Trader with TD Ameritrade’s (Charles Schwab) Institutional Block Desk.
A 7th generation Texan, Ryan is passionate about representing and growing investment in the great State of Texas. Ryan is registered with FINRA, holds his Series 7, 63, 3, 9, 10, 57 licenses and is a Texas A&M-Corpus Christi alumni.
