FPA DFW is excited to announce our first ever pickleball tournament! The event will be held on Thursday, September 14th, from 6-8pm, at LB Houston Tennis Center in Dallas. Join us for a fun evening of pickleball and networking and make even more professional and personal connections.
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and it has become very popular in TX. It's fun, fast, and fashionable - for all skill levels. We will run a ladder format, where everyone is paired with players at a comparable skill level. For first-time players or those wanting a refresher, we will provide a quick introduction covering basic technique and strategy so you can be on your way to winning your first games. In the meantime, here are the pickleball rules, as well as a few basic tips to get you started in the game.
Our time on the courts is from 6 PM to 8 PM and we will have plenty of time for networking and pizza!
If you have your own equipment, please bring it, otherwise it will be provided for you. Please bring water/hats/sunscreen and wear clothing and sneakers. Capacity is limited (FPA members and Corporate Partners only) and we expect the event to fill up quickly, please RSVP at your earliest convenience.
