FPA Puget Sound Pro Bono Volunteer Day at JA BizTown!

Junior Achievement of Washington

We are thrilled to announce a unique volunteer opportunity in collaboration with Junior Achievement (JA), a national non-profit dedicated to preparing students for their future economic success. JA BizTown is an innovative, experiential program that combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to a fully interactive simulated town.

During this special event, volunteers from our chapter will dedicate their day to helping 5th graders navigate their way through JA BizTown, where students become "citizens" for the day. These young learners will engage in real-world activities such as managing banks, operating restaurants, writing checks, and even voting for the mayor.

This hands-on experience not only teaches financial literacy but also helps students understand the connection between what they learn in school and their future roles in the economy. It’s a fun, immersive way for kids to gain practical knowledge about the real world, and we are looking for volunteers to make this day a success!
